Séminaire "Solar electric bike tour and energy scenario, an environmental issue"

Sushil Pakala Reddy from Mumbai, India, has a bachelors and masters degree in Energy Science and Engineering from the university Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay – Mumbai. With an aim to make people in India aware about the importance and need of solar energy, he undertook the initiative called “The SunPedal Ride” in which he rode a solar powered electric bicycle across 9 states and 7424 kms and delivered seminars via public speaking and community engagement on solar energy. This social cause is also now a Guinness World Record - http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/longest-journey-on-an-motorized-bicycle.

He has been invited as the special guest for The Sun Trip tour in France in July 2017, and to extend his solar promotion cause, he is touring on his solar electric bike in France in June 2017 for 2000 kilometres. As one of major issues of our environmental awareness, we are proud to announce that he has chosen Bordeaux to give a talk and interact with all public on "Solar electric bike tour and energy scenario, an environmental issue": Wednesday, on 7th June, 2017, IMS Labs (Univ.
